Our rare lumber has survived and travelled an amazing journey. Reclaimed french oak flooring is unique; no two pieces are the same, which leads to time-worn character like a fine wine, connected to weather and place.
We also reclaim beams, planks, and parquetry hundreds of years old salvaged from historic villas, barns, homes and hotels.
Our old growth French oak forest products are as legendary as the forests in which they grew. France has been home to sustainable forest management for centuries, which means that French oak has a noteworthy reputation as a certified sustainable hardwood.

Salvage Europe specializes in only reclaimed wide-plank single origin oak floorboards and other European architectural gems. Many of our clients come to us because they love our attention to history and quality, our unrivaled french oak flooring, custom furniture and architectural salvage. Salvage Europe is able to specify product from a wide range of European salvage suppliers, having built a diverse supplier network from over 35 years in the industry.
We also offer buying trips for clients with special projects to source architectural antiques and elements.
We are a bespoke interior design service based in the U.S, with a sister company in Australia, Chenéoak.com.au. We only take on a small numbers of projects at any one time and take pride in our high level of quality materials and service from start to project completion.
